Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastics Gratings (GRP gratings)
Glass fibre Reinforced Plastic gratings are made from fiberglass threads embedded in a solid grating mould after which they are topped with a high-quality resin. Curing then results in a strong and high-grade lightweight GRP grating. GRP gratings, as opposed to steel gratings, provide electrical and thermal insulation, which are very suitable for industrial applications. Color pigments can be added to the original clear resin so that the material can be supplied in a wide range of colors.

Applications of Aluminum Gratings
They are widely used as work floors, stair treads, and trench covers in corrosive environments. Industries benefiting from GRP gratings include food processing, beverage, chemical processing, water/wastewater treatment, metal finishing, pulp/paper, transportation, pharmaceutical, textile, oil/gas and mining/smelting refineries, power generation, sewage treatment, and oceanographic survey fields.
